Hey there, this site is pretty old now. I've decided to leave it up as I put a lot of work into it and would hate to see it disappear.

This jQuery plugin allows you to get the height and width of elements in jQuery even if they are hidden (display: none). I'm not sure if this is a bug in jQuery or intended to work this way but this solves the problem.
