IE8 released to the wild It appears that Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 8 to the masses as a "critical update" to windows XP/Vista.

    I'm not sure whether to be happy or afraid. IE8 has given me mixed rendering results thus far.

    Hehe, I just noticed that the thumbnail generated has the sidebar thing on /. all messed up.

    Slashdot has some really wacky code going on. Sometimes I wonder if they even test their site. That screenshot looks a little like how it looks in IE7.
