Kill A Watt - Determine How Much Energy You Are Using

I saw a news article on this device, which you can basically plug into your wall, between another device you use, say a computer, to determine how much power that device uses over a given amount of time. I think I may buy one of these.

  Have one of those already, got it for about $19 after shipping (or maybe free shipping?). Seems to work pretty well. Another idea is to use it with a surge protector to test an entire computer system at once. Of course, don't overload the poor thing in the process. It's amazing, a CRT uses about 10 more watts to display a solid white screen than it does a solid black one, whereas it makes no noticeable difference on an LCD.
